Terms of service
These terms apply to Delta Negative, provided by Delta Negative.
The app and updates
The app is free to use. App updates are free for everyone, on every plan.
Accounts
You sign in with Discord, Google or Steam. You need an account to start the trial, buy Premium or use Premium features. You are responsible for your account. You may link more than one sign-in method to recover access.
Plans
- Trial: 10 days of full Premium, once per account and once per PC.
- Yearly: Premium for 365 days from a single payment. It is not renewed automatically. Buying another year before it ends adds 365 days to your current end date.
- Lifetime: Premium for the life of the product, from a single payment.
Premium features need an active plan and stop when it ends. The free tier does not stop.
One PC at a time
Premium is active on one PC per account. You can move it to another PC in the app at any time; the previous PC loses Premium at its next check. Premium keeps working for up to 7 days without a connection to our server; after that the app needs to reach it once to renew.
Commercial use
Commercial use is allowed on every plan, for example leagues and broadcasters.
Payments and refunds
Payments are handled by a payment provider. Refunds are covered on the Refunds page.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time. Remaining yearly time or a Lifetime plan is lost and not refunded. The deletion completes after 14 days.
Lifetime
Lifetime means for the life of the product. A price change applies only to later purchases; nobody's current plan changes.
Sharing with friends
Friends lets you send HUD profiles, widgets, reference laps and car setups to other people, and keep them in a library others can browse. Share only what you have the right to share. Many paid setups are licensed to the buyer alone, and sharing one with a whole group is still redistribution.
Anything you share is stored on our server for the time the privacy policy states, and people who import it keep their copy. You are responsible for what you share. We may hide or remove an item, and suspend sharing, when it is reported or breaks these terms, and we tell you what was done and why. To dispute a decision, contact support.
To report an item, use Report in the app, or the report form if you do not have an account. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Liability and contact
Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot be limited, or our liability for fraud, gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
As far as the law allows, the app and Premium are provided as they are, without a promise that they will always be available or free of errors. Our total liability to you for any claim about the app or Premium is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost setups, laps or results, or the outcome of a race.
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and disputes go to the courts of South Africa. If the law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country, that right stays.
